The first Daniel Benton built this house in 1720; The oldest house remaining in Tolland, it was occupied by members of his family until 1932. It is the oldest house museum open to the public in Tolland County.

Art, University

The Davison Art Center holds approximately 18,000 prints and 6,000 photographs in one of the foremost collections of prints and photographs at a U.S. college or university. The collection is intensively used for teaching and learning by Wesleyan classes, faculty, and individual students. During the academic year, the DAC presents gallery exhibitions open to the public.
