Set in 22 acres of formal gardens. the Manor House at Ladew is filled with equestrian and hunting memorabilia, fine art and English antiques.

History

The Laurel Museum collects, preserves and displays objects, photographs, and archival material related to Laurel, Maryland. It is our intention to educate both local and non-local visitors about the history of the town of Laurel and the people, institutions and outside forces that formed the town.

As the only museum named after a woman and the only civil rights museum in the state of Maryland, it serves as a repository of civil rights artifacts including documents, framed memorabilia and household furnishings. Prominent amongst these was a life-sized photo of Jackson with Rosa Parks just inside the building's entrance.

Built in the early 1900's, The Lutherville Colored School#24 was a grade school for "Colored" children until the 1950's. Still standing after 100 years, visitors can experience the mystique of this ol 'country schoolhouse sitting on an acre of land in beautiful Lutherville, MD

Museum is of early Methodist History in MD, the beginnings of Methodism. The library houses closed church original records and history of each church in our conference.
