The Mountain Bike Hall of Fame and Museum (MBHOF) is located in downtown Crested Butte at 331 Elk Avenue within the Crested Butte Mountain Heritage Museum. Our biking museum houses items of memorabilia, including vintage bikes, components, classic photos, press clippings and highlights from historic races and events.

The Kids Zone teaches kids about money the way they learn best: by doing and playing. Through fun activities, interactive exhibits and FREE classes, children can pick up basic and advanced concepts - from how to make change to understanding monetary systems. An elegant residence erected in 1916 by Berthoud’s Dr. and Mrs. D.W. McCarty, the McCarty-Fickel Home is the setting of a historic house museum that explores the domestic, professional and civic lives of members of the McCarty and Fickel families from the 1890s to present—including the onsite medical office from the 1930s.

Cherry Creek Valley Historical Society saved the Melvin Schoolhouse, a two room schoolhouse built in 1922, which was in danger of being razed. The original site was near Parker Road and Quincy Avenue, east of Cherry Creek State Park. Melvin Schoolhouse was used by the families in the Melvin community. The school closed in 1949 when the Cherry Creek Dam was created. The schoolhouse was moved in 1976 and restored under the supervision of CCVHS with members, students, Cherry Creek School District personnel, and community volunteers.

The Museum of Outdoor Arts is a forerunner in the placement of site-specific sculpture in Colorado. MOA specializes in creating environments that promote a range of sculpture, as well as performance art. Our art collection is located within various public locations throughout the Denver metro area. From commercial office parks to botanic gardens, city parks and traditional sculpture gardens; the art is placed to interpret space as "a museum without walls." Employing a combination of art, architecture, and landscape, MOA is best known for integrating these disciplines in order to create exemplary environments.
