The Historical Society and Museum exist for the purposes of collecting, preserving, and interpreting Lowndes County's Heritage through exhibits, programs, and research.

The College of the Arts of Valdosta State University delivers arts instruction through graduate and undergraduate programs and provides cultural enrichment and artistic programming for the region through national and regional gallery exhibitions.

Art, Culture

The Gallery displays well-known and local artists-2 exhibits per month. LVAC has art, writing and yoga classes. LVAC sponsors Broadway shows and non-juried art exhibits.

The Center is a beautiful facility with space to accommodate wedding receptions, meetings, and corporate events.
