Washington commission for the Humanities, a non-profit organization, serves the museum community through a variety of programs, including Inquiring Mind presenters, traveling exhibits, grants, and oral history/video documentary workshops.

Arboretum

The largest living museum of plants north of San Francisco, the Arboretum contains 4,600 types of trees, shrubs and vines. In a 200 acre tranquil greenspace, collections are selected and arranged to display their beauty and function in urban landscapes.
