Joseph Moore Museum is the regional natural history museum for eastern Indiana. It provides opportunities for Earlham students to have hands-on experience working in a museum in the fields of zoology, botany, anthropology, geology, education, and applied arts. Students curate the collection, provide tours and planetarium shows for visitors, maintain the live animal collections, and design and build exhibits. Guidance is provided by natural science faculty members.

It has been restored to the 1950 era of railroading and is operated as a museum by the Linden-Madison Township Historical Society. The fully air-conditioned Depot Museum features a collection of "railroadiana" material mainly from the two railroads it once served: the Monon and the Nickel Plate. The Monon agent's room houses the E.E. Kauffman train collection, including a 3/4" scale, live steam model of the Monon 4-4-0 locomotive with passenger coach. Numerous Nickel Plate artifacts are displayed in the Nickel Plate agent's room. Model Railroad Clubs operate HO & O gauge layouts in the separate Monon and Nickel Plate baggage rooms.

In 1965, Culver Woodcraft Camp opened its new museum and nature center. The gift of William Griffith, Robert G. Friedman SS'38, S. Truman Olin, Jr. SS'42, Ralph Smith, and Peirce Ward, SS'03, it is the hub of all nature activities for the Woodcraft Camp.

At Conner Prairie, you’ll find four themed historic areas to explore: Lenape Camp, Conner Homestead, 1836 Prairietown and 1859 Balloon Voyage. In each area "look, don’t touch" becomes "look, touch, smell, taste and hear” as you live history first-hand. Explore 200 beautiful, wooded acres and discover fun daily activities, themed days and exciting ways to experience the past with your family.
