We are dedicated to developing and operating the Battle of Plattsburgh Interpretive Center and War of 1812 Museum. In this effort we will collect, preserve and maintain appropriate artifacts and undertake a national education effort to publicize the significance of the Battle of Plattsburgh in the War of 1812 and our nation’s history.

The Brooklyn Historical Society (BHS) is a museum, library and educational center dedicated to encouraging the exploration and appreciation of Brooklyn's rich heritage. BHS fulfills this mission by collecting, preserving and making available important materials representative of Brooklyn's diverse peoples and cultures both past and present. The Brooklyn Historical Society places the materials it collects in a meaningful context by presenting innovative exhibitions and public programs.

Buffalo Niagara Heritage Village is an educational institution whose mission is to engage a diverse audience in the exploration of history and its influence on present-day life in the Niagara Frontier, with emphasis on the Town of Amherst. We achieve our mission through historical research and interpretation, preservation and management of our collections and historic buildings, and creative activities and events.
