Presently in a Head Start School Campus, with plans to move our building to a new 27 acre park in the heart of town.
Settled as Black Canyon, A.T. in the mid 1800's. Called Cañon, Canon, Agua Fria Dist. Goddard, Rock Springs and Richenbar over the past 150 years. The historical society was started in 2005 and the museum opened in the Old Cañon School, which was built in 1926.
Photographs, new articles, numerous artifacts and mining tools dating back 125 years.
