"Preserving Gold Hill" A collection of Gold Hill's past(mining,pioneers, artifacts, old photographs)for future generations.' Museum.History='Housed in the historic St. James Chapel, built in 1941 for the "Bluebirds" (organization of Chicago business women) for a place to worship. Historic Gold Hill Inc purchased it in 1997 to become the Gold Hill Museum.
