Description

The Spokane Fire Station Museum was established in 1978 and incorporated as a Non-profit organization April 20,1989. The Museum received IRS recognition of tax exempt status as provided under 26 U.S.C. Sec. 501 (c) (3) February 23, 1994.

Mission
Museum Vision:

Heritage through fire and rail service and historic displays and interpretations. Public Safety education through community awareness and outreach programs.

History

The Spokane Fire Station Museum established the Fire Department Museum March 15, 1993. The Museum has been located at the Spokane Fire Department Training Center 1618 N Rebecca ST., since 2007. The Museum also established the Fire & Rail Museum, in 1995. Located at 5104 North Market, in the Hillyard business district.
